I See You
I see you.
And the triggers.
I know you’re being triggered like nobody’s business. You’re growing, dear one.
I see you.
And your broken heart.
Hiding you’re vulnerability from the world in an attempt to be seen.
I see you.
And the anger that consumes your light sometimes. And how strong you are to keep it from overcoming the meaningful parts. The light parts. How hard it is for you to welcome your darkness. How much you’ve been told, wrongly, to fear it.
I see how strong you are to carry it, and your sorrow. How strong you are to hold it in, so as not to let it leak on the ones you love. How hard you’re trying to keep your humanness zipped into submission.
I see you.
Bottled up and closed tight.
Barely breathing and calling it “fine”.
Barely living and calling it “okay”.
Supporting the ones you love so fully, hoping they don’t see how hard it is for you to do so. Hoping they don’t see the heavy pieces you carry inside your heart.
I see you. And your heart.
And it’s all okay. It’s all part of the journey of you. Carry what you will, but let the air out sometimes. Let her breathe, let her move around.
When the pressure consumes you it makes my heart feel tight. Because your heart feels tight. And heavy. With the weight of a long life lived and carried. A life of many heartbreaks. A beautifully full and abundant life.
Hug that shit for me.
It’s you.
It’s the sweetest and strongest part of you. It’s the secrets you keep. It’s the tenderness that’s given, not received.
Hug her for me.
Because she is so fucking strong. Can’t you see how strong you are?
She deserves light, love, ease, and breath.
She deserves the sun.
And the water,
the earth, the sky, and the deepest, nourishing breath.
The way the moon deserves your admiration, and the sun deserves your praise. The way green growth requires water, bodies require breath, and hearts beat with new blood life. It’s okay to lighten the load of you. I promise the world won’t end if you don’t carry it; it carries itself, remember?
You can offer yourself softness, an acknowledgment of your soul’s long journey towards itself.
That’s why you’re here.
It’s why you have a heart.
To feel.
To connect.
And to be seen.
Is it you that I see?
I hope you’ll step into the light. The world needs to know you. I need to know you; you and your heart.
Loves, I’m creating a community. I want to connect with more of you and more often. I want a safe and sacred space for us all to feel seen, felt, and heard.
Raise your hand if you want to join!
